Custom Home Building FAQs

Does Trinity Homes Remodeling build custom homes, or only remodels?

Custom homes are one of our core capabilities alongside luxury remodeling. Our current focus is generating more whole-home remodel and addition projects, but ground-up custom home building remains a significant part of what we do.

Do you work with our architect and designer, or do we need to find our own?

We regularly collaborate with architects and designers a homeowner has already engaged, and can also help you build out that team if you're starting from scratch.

How is a custom home project different from a whole-home remodel?

A custom home starts from the lot: site planning, architecture, and ground-up construction. A remodel works within (or adds onto) a home that already exists. The preconstruction discipline, communication and craftsmanship standard are the same either way.

Do you build spec homes for investors?

Yes. We build spec homes on speculation rather than for a specific homeowner, planning the budget and finishes around resale value rather than one buyer's personal preference, while holding the same construction standard as our custom homes.

Do you renovate investment properties for real estate investors?

Yes, we take on investment property renovations for investors and builders, including transparent, line-item budgeting suited to underwriting, and we can work with an investor on an ongoing basis across more than one property.
